Fun in the Sun!

I booked a photo session with Bec (G-Blossom) off EB which took place yesterday.
We had a great time, although it must be so frustrating being a photographer. its difficult enough to get all three looking into the camera at once without adding bubbles, lollies and red wagons into the equation.

Bec was absolutely lovely and Im so glad I chose her. The kids had a great time and once we had gone home kept asking me where that lady was.

LOL

So far its a monthly blog.
I will try to write more. Ive got more time now after getting through a hellish month at work.

Last week one of my friends from Sydney moved to Brisbane. *WELCOME PIA*.
Pia and I met on a parenting forum and have been great mates for about four years. It was great to finally meet her two kids in person after watching them grow from babies via pictures on the internet.
The kids loved having Rory and Justin over, even Lily enjoyed herself.
I was a little worried at first because I had earlier warned the girls that we were having kids over to play and that they would have to share their toys and play "nicely" with our visitors.
Just before they were due to arrive, Lily saunters over, rolls her eyes at me and informs me she's taking herself off to the naughty corner. Telling me that she will not be sharing her toys and she will not be saying sorry. I have to admit her scowl was pretty priceless and I serioulsy had to stop myself laughing out loud.
She certainly marches to the beat of her own drum..

I'm getting some professional photos of the kids takem on Sunday. I can't wait to post the results.

So it begins.... again

Well this blogging business has gotten off to a rather sloooooow start. That damm work, coming between me and my creative pursuits.
Maybe its really about my inability to prioritise, or maybe its just old fashioned procrastination.
I am the queen of procrastination.
I could probably write a whole blog on procrastination; if only I could get started.
See... procrastination!!

So how should I begin?
I'll start by talking about myself, and although I absolutely adore to chat, Im not that good at actually talking about myself.
So my stats. Im a 35 year old wife and mother of three absolutely gorgeous children.
The absolute loves of my life: Thomas (5) and Ava and Lily (2)
I'm married to a wonderful DH who was unfortunate enough to suffer a brain injury as a result of falling on his head. He is recovering, adjustments have been made; we are all coping. :)

I am a girl's girl. I love to spend time with the girls, chatting, drinking, gossiping etc.
I love to talk, to share and I love to listen to people's stories. I'm a Libran so I will always see both sides and am a true and loyal friend. Well at least I hope I am.
I'm a little blunt and tell it like it is, although I would never intentionally be unkind.
My sense of humour is very dry and I'm extremely sarcastic :)

So techically I'm in my dirty thirties, my "prime".
It doesn't feel that dirty LOL, I think my libido took a vacation when Thomas was born and hasn't been seen since.
I've thought about trying to find it, maybe help bring it back with some magical hippy remedy, but so far I haven't got around to it.
See... procrastination.
